2. Storage Unit Rental

The rental of a storage unit is subject to the following conditions:

• Units are rented on a month-to-month basis unless otherwise specified
• Rent is due on the first day of each rental period
• A security deposit may be required and will be refundable subject to terms
• Access to units is available 24/7 with valid access credentials

3. Payment Terms

Payment for storage services must be made according to the following terms:

• Payment is due in advance for each rental period

• Automatic recurring payments may be set up for convenience
• Payment method must remain valid throughout the rental period

4. Prohibited Items

The following items are strictly prohibited from being stored in our facilities:

• Hazardous materials, explosives, or flammable substances
• Illegal items or substances
• Perishable food items
• Living plants or animals
• Stolen goods or items obtained illegally
• Items that produce odors or fumes

5. Security and Access

We provide security measures for our facilities including surveillance cameras, secure access systems, and on-site management. However, we recommend that customers maintain appropriate insurance for their stored items. Access codes and keys must be kept secure and not shared with unauthorized individuals.

6. Insurance and Liability

While we take reasonable precautions to secure our facilities, we are not liable for loss or damage to stored items except in cases of gross negligence. Customers are strongly encouraged to maintain insurance coverage for their stored belongings. We offer optional insurance coverage at competitive rates.

7. Termination and Cancellation

Either party may terminate the rental agreement subject to the following:

• Customers must provide written notice of intent to vacate
• Final payment must be made for the notice period
• Unit must be emptied and cleaned before termination
• We reserve the right to terminate for breach of terms
• Outstanding balances must be settled before termination

8. Lien Rights

In accordance with applicable law, we reserve the right to place a lien on stored items for unpaid rental fees. If payment remains outstanding beyond the specified grace period, we may dispose of or auction stored items to recover unpaid amounts.

9. Facility Rules

All customers must adhere to facility rules including:

• Keeping units locked when not in use
• Not transferring or subletting units without permission
• Respecting other customers and staff
• Following safety guidelines and posted instructions
• Not conducting business from storage units

10. Modifications to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these terms and conditions at any time. Customers will be notified of significant changes via email or posted notices. Continued use of our services after modifications constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
